Math 10 Honors Numbers Summary

The first unit in math honors 10 was mostly review for me. We learned about prime numbers, the real number system, mixed and entire radicals. When we learned about prime numbers we learned about prime factorization and composite numbers. 1 thing I found really cool is that the biggest prime number known to man has 17,425,170 DIGITS!  For prime factorization, we used number trees to divide down into just the prime factors. When we learned about the real number system we learned which numbers go in which categories and how we can call 2 a real number and a whole number too but we cant call 0 and real number but we can call it whole. When we learned about mixed and entire radicals I learned how to convert a mixed radical into an entire radical. Also, I learned how to reduce them to the simplest radical form. I learned how to cube root and 4th root and etc. I think it was a pretty good unit.
