Street Pharm – Alison van Diepan

Street Pharm is about a boy named Ty who’s father was an infamous drug dealer in the city. After his dad is locked up the business is passed down to Ty, who’s been in on the action for years previous. Everything is moving smoothly until Ty is kicked out of school and switches to the alternative school and meets Alyse, the complete game changer for Ty and his “No-dating-until-twenty-one” Rule. With that bump in the road, what will Ty do when suddenly there’s a new competitor in town and Ty finds himself with more than a few problems on his head. . .

As soon as I heard the description of this book I was interested and knew that it was the book I wanted to read. It was a very easy read and I was surprised by how simple it was considering the content and theme, which I thought would be more than mature. I am very glad I chose this as my novel study book.
