In week 5, I learned about polynomial operations.

I knew some new words this week.

Leading coefficient… The number that is placed in front of first x of the polynomial

Coefficient… a numerical or constant quantity placed before and multiplying the variable in an algebraic expression.

Constant… A fixed value. In Algebra, a constant is a number on its own, or sometimes a letter such as a, b or c to stand for a fixed number.

And I also learned how to calculate polynomial. We should make square to calculate polynomial. Here is an example.

If the number is positive, we have to fill in the square. If not, We don’t have to.
