A.

  1. Sodium bicarbonate + Acetic acid —-> Carbon dioxide + sodium acetate + water

NaHCo3 + CH3OOH —–> Co2 + NaCH3OO + H2O  (already balanced)

2. Calcium + water —-> Calcium hydroxide + hydrogen gas

Ca + 2H2O —–> Ca(OH)2 + H2 (Neutralization)

3. Dihydrogen dioxide —–> oxygen gas + water

H2O2 ——> O2 + H2O   (Decomposition)

4. Calcium chloride + sodium carbonate —–> calcium carbonate + sodium chloride

CaCl2 + Na2Co3 —–> CaCo3 + 2Nacl (Double Replacement)

B.

I think that one of the most powerful learning moments were when the kids could create there own gas with the balloon and beaker, because it is a really interesting lab where the kids can learn about properties of matter without being really bored. The part of the learning experience that I enjoyed the most was seeing how exited some of the kids were because most kids haven’t seen labs like this.
