In drawing & painting, I have challenged myself to do types of artwork that I would not normally do such as white on black drawing and self-portraits. Visual art to me is expressing your thoughts and emotions through your artwork, my style of art changes depending on how I feel or am thinking about. I think my responsibility as an artist is to show my perspective on life and how I see the world. I plan to continue to improve my art skills.

I think my most successful project was my opposites attract project. I knew that roses could be difficult to paint a rose but I wanted to challenge myself, and I think it turned out really well. I think that my least successful project would be the tarot card project, I struggled to come up with an idea for it, and I wish I could have added more detail. Overall, I really enjoyed drawing & painting because it challenged me to try to do different styles and subjects that I would not normally do.
