I have had many interactions with the environment, some of them were good and some were not as good. For example I try my best to do most of my work digitally so that I don’t have to use a bunch of paper which helps save trees from being cut down and to save electricity I try to turn off the lights when I am not in the room or I don’t need the light. But I also contribute to global warming because I have to take the bus to and from school almost every day because it would takes me a long time to walk to school or even take my bike.
When my class did the package that told us how many hectares we used, I realised that I use a lot more than than the average person. I feel like I can do a lot more to help with the environment. For example I could have shorter showers and not leave the water running to save water, I could try to not use the bus to go to school as often, I could help my parents plant trees in my back yard. And there are many other things that I could do to help.
