First they came for…. (rewrite your poem)
First they came for the Animals
and I did not speak out
because I was not an Animal.
Then they came for house pets.
and I did not speak out
because I was not a house pet .
Then they came for animals in labs
and I did not speak out
because I was not an animal used in a lab
Then they came for me
and there was no one left
to speak out for me.
