Reflection:
What is one thing you are proud of?
One thing I am proud of is that I thought I had strong evidence to support my thesis, and I also did an extra amount of research to make sure I only added evidence that supported my thesis. As well as I also thought that my paragraphs were set up in a way that provides the reader a more in-depth perception into how I feel about the topic.
What are two things you want to improve for your synthesis essay?
The first thing I would like to improve for my synthesis essay is my spelling and my grammar. I have never been good at spelling at it definitely shows in my persuasive essay because I misspell words like “chief” or “quiet” which are easily avoidable, but I missed when proofreading. As well as my grammar, I had a lot of misplaced commas and semicolons in my hard copy that I handed in. I will definitely have people proofread my essay before I hand it in.
The second thing that I would like to improve on is my citations, I did not cite my sources on my essay (I did not cite my sources for my evidence toward my arguments in footnotes or brackets), and will be adding footnotes in the synthesis essay. I feel that footnotes look cleaner on an essay than putting cites in brackets and that’s why I will be putting my cites in footnotes instead of brackets.
