  1. the Pythagorean theorem a^{2}+b^{2}=c^{2}, in a right triangle, you can use the two right-angle sides to calculate the hypotenuse. it can help you to save a lot of time to find out other resources and you can solve all the triangle just by two condition.
  2. division tables. to find the prime factors of one number, use the division tables is a good choice. from the top, divide by the smallest prime factors from the top and keep doing it until there is only 1 left. (2-even? 3-sum/3, 5-ends in 5,0)
  3. multiplication law: if two number is the same base, add the power together. division law: if the base is the same, use the power of first number to minus the power of second number. power to power law: when the base are the same, multiply the two power.
  4. rational exponents: if the power of the number is a fraction, the number on the top is the power of this number and the number on the bottom is  the radical expression.
  5. slope-y-intercept form, y=mx=b. this form is clear to find out the slope and y-intercept of the line, can be easy to help you to draw the graph. and the slope of the graph is easy to calculate, just use the equation of: m=rise/run. and then you can put a group of number to get b —-y intercept.
