                                                                                           Keesh

In the story named “Keesh” by Jack London, Keesh is a strong boy that very brave and helpful. Firstly, Keesh is a brave boy. He “killed a young bear, and on the following trip, he killed two large bears” without “takes a dog with him”, although dogs are such a great help. He is an only thirteen years old boy, he went hunting by himself and killed the bears. We all know that the bears have more meat, but it is the more difficult to hunt. Keesh is so brave that he hunted so much meat by himself. Secondly, he is very strong. If the meat is not cut into pieces as soon as the kill is made, it will be very difficult to put on a sled and haul over bumpy ice. But when the men arrived at the spot, “they found not only the kill, which they had doubted but that Keesh had cut up the carcasses exactly the way a hunter should do it.” Keesh is really strong, he cut up the bears as soon as he killed them. The men in the village can not believe that because it needs a lot of strength that a boy is not easy to do that. Finally, Keesh is a boy that very helpful like his father. He hunted the meat not only for himself. He said “when I return with the meat, I will divide it fairly. No old person will cry out in hunger at night”. He helps a lot of old people to have enough food so that they won’t be hungry. And he unlike the other hunters in this village, he sent the meat fairly. He won’t take more meat because that was he hunted. He was helpful to the people in the village. He tries his best to help the people in the village. Keesh is a strong boy that have a lot of strength to cut up the bear, and very brave to hunt although he is a child, also be helpful like his father that divide the meat fairly to make sure all the people in the village won’t be hungry.
