this is my article

When coming across this writing piece, the author’s use of descriptive: “so fiercely independent, rapidly became utterly helpless.” And insightful: “that love between two people is powerful, infinite, and so big that it can never be quantified into more or less” vocabulary really captured my attention. The love that Ginny has for her husband, and the love he had for her, it reveals the true meaning of love and support by our loved ones, no matter what the circumstances are. This really stood out to me, I was reminded of the love my grandma and grandpa had for each other. My grandma was also a fiercely independent lady, however, when she suffered from cancer, she cut herself out from life. She was embarrassed to be seen ill, as, her constant worry was to look her best. To be impotent, was a sudden fear she dreaded upon. She came to a realization that this time she would need assistance. As my grandpa was always there for the support and comfort to make her feel ‘cured’. She never did know how to be tended to, she only knew how to help people. With saying this, in Ginny Taylor’s Staying Close, expresses the thought of helping others the way we would want them to help us. In society today we are represented based on our actions, and the way we chose to act upon them. The care and compassion you give to others is what you will get in return, in other words, the good you do will come back to you in the end.
