I believe that our redesigned periodic table can help students understand the elements more in multiple ways. Such as making it easier to locate certain elements since the families are more separated from each other. As well as giving students basic information that is not featured on the current periodic table, including the state at room temperature and the number of valence shells. Using all this added information you can easily learn more about each element and family. You can compare similarities with families and differences. I think that students can overall understand elements on the periodic table better because of the features we added to ours.
