This week in math 10 we started a new unit and were learning about the slope of a line. My first though was that there was going to be huge calculation but there isn’t. When I found out you can find the slope by using rise/run I remembered that I had learned a little bit about it in grade 9, so a had a little bit of an idea on what to do. Rise over run is a very easy thing to use as long as you remember a few important things. Always place two dots on nice points on the graph, when traveling up or to the right the numbers are positive and when going down or to the left the numbers are negative. This is a very visual unit when it comes to the math you are doing so for a visual learner like me it wasn’t to hard to pick up.
