This week in math I learned about negative exponents and how to deal with them since it is a new thing for me. It is a bit tricky at first to understand but as you keep working with it, it gets a little bit easier. The main idea behind negative exponents is having to move them, so if you have a negative exponent on the top of a fraction you have to move it to the bottom to make it “happy” or positive, but you cant move a positive at all because then it will become negative. All of the negative exponents start either over or under one and will then get moved from there so make them happy.
