V for Vendetta

To me, V was back and fourth between the two. Freedom fighter or terrorist? Well sometimes I thought he was a terrorist because he killed so many people. He killed over 80,000 people. No could you not think he was a terrorist at least once? Another reason I thought he was more of a terrorist was because he kept Ev in that fake prison for so long. Other times I thought he was more a freedom fighter because he saw what the government was doing and did he just sit back and do nothing? No. He said, “No, this isn’t right. I have to do something.” So he took on what ‘Guy Fox’ tired to do because he believed that what the government was doing was wrong and unfair to the people. Sure he blew up the Bailey and the Parliment building. But he did what he had to do to save and free the people from the government. So I guess in my mind, V s more a freedom fighter. Yes he killed people, yes he imprisoned  Ev. But in the end I don’t think he could have done anything differently. He did what everyone else wished that they could do. Who knows what might have happened if V didn’t stand up, and if he was just another person who sat around at an ordinary life just to have the government ruin it. So that is why I thought V was a freedom fighter. Not a terrorist.
