This post is talking about Small Modular Reactors. Small Modular Reactors produce clean, affordable and safe energy. They produce energy through electrons and uranium. They are manufactured in factories and are going to be implemented in BC.
Ask- The questions I asked were,
What are Small Modular Reactors?
What are the advantages of Small Modular Reactors?
What are the disadvantages of Small Modular Reactors?
Are they good for the environment?
What countries are currently taking steps toward SMR’s?
Acquire – Here are the tools I used to gather my information.

- Gale Engage
- Citation Machine/Easy Bib for references
Analyze – Here is how I got my information and cited my sources.
I got my information from a lot of sources. I summarized what I read directly in my own words on the Sway and the letter. I used as many sources as I possibly could and even looked into studies at UBC and Stanford. I gathered photos from picture sharing websites that Mr. Robinson shared with me. I cited my sources using the Citation machine and Easy Bib.
Assess – Here is how the product and process went.
Navigating Sway was easy compared to other Microsoft apps. I could have added one more question for more content. I didn’t because I have a big French project to do. Writing the letter was fairly easy. I followed the process and understand what SMR’s are and how they work. I can use this process to understand topics from my other classes as well. Doing this projects has helped me better prepare for my other courses by using new tools and methods of researching.

Very good information fluency post. I really like how you have found some great sub-questions to lead you to get a well-rounded perspective on small modular reactors. You have done a good job sharing the digital tools you used and citing your sources. Great work emphasizing the pros and cons of these nuclear devices. Good debrief on your product and process as well! How did you find the process of writing your letter to the MLA?
Writing the letter to the MLA was pretty easy. I have written letters to people in middle school and I have experience . I spoke my mind about the issue of Small Modular Reactors and got my partner and classmates to proofread it.
