My favourite quote is “The best decisions are not made with your mind, but with your instinct.” This quote is from Lionel Messi. I choose this quote because when you overthink too much about a decision, you often choose the wrong one. This also applies to soccer because you have to make decisions quickly so do not lose the ball. This means trusting your instincts.  

 

My favourite video is Messi’s free kick in 2019 against Liverpool in the Champions League. I choose this video because it is my favourite free kick of all time and it motivated me to practice my free kicks during Covid. This made me the best free kick taker in my team after trying my best to replicate Messi’s perfect free kick.
