Reflection:

What privileges do you have on this land because of colonialism?

Non-indigenous people seems to have more freedom, less restricted. Indigenous often struggles with work, education, housing, food, etc.

What can you do to better care for the land? Who lived on this land before you?

I can take better of the land by small tasks such as not throwing trash on the ground, educate myself and learn more about the plants and animals that lives here, respect everyone else who also live on the same land as me.

What personal or organizational practices do you have in place to work towards reconciliation?

I work on researches before speaking information about indigenous, speaking up or educate my peers/ families when speak about stereotypes or misunderstandings. I can support indigenous artists by watching films, art, movies created by them.
