The point of view I used is Objective

The chief and his squad knocked on the door of the old man’s house. There had been a noise complaint about a scream, and foul play was detected. A butler appeared at the door, and the chief asked about the scream and was quickly ushered inside. The butler was happy to let them roam through the house, checking anything they pleased. He told the police that the homeowner was away on a trip, doing deeds and whatnot. After searching, the butler offered them to sit down. They shared drinks and conversation, laughing and drinking. Although, the butler looked uneasy. He briefly turned pale, and gritted his teeth at the officers. His eyes scanned the room, as he stared intensely at a spot in the floor. Beads of sweat slid down his forehead. The butler’s eyes twitched and bulged as he screamed, “Villains! Dissemble no more! I admit the deed! –tear up the planks! here, here! –It is the beating of his hideous heart!”
