Foil is an acronym for the four steps above. It is used when multiplying two binomials together. (a+b)(c+d) is equivalent to (ac+ad+bc+bd)
(2b+5)(3a+5)
F(6ab)+O(10b)+I(15a)+L(25)
If there is a coefficient make sure that you don’t use the distributive property until you have simplified the expression as much as possible.
