How much of these foods come in different types of packaging?
I can’t give an exact number of how many but for what I see its about 20 packages.

What kind of packaging materials are usually used?
some of the meat we buy comes in styrofoam. the chicken we get usually comes in cardboard
and the meat has plastic covering it. sometimes the meat comes in big boxes.

Why do you think that all of these materials were chosen specifically for the products purchased?
To keep it uncontaminated and clean so there are no germs or bacteria on it.

How is packaging both positive and negative for the consumer?
it is negative because we are wasting a ton of plastic and cardboard boxes but it is also positive because we get the stuff we need is not contaminated with germs.

What happens to these packaging materials once we have eaten the food inside?
we throw out the boxes and plastic into the recycling.

Where is the packaging waste after one day? One year? One hundred years?
Its most likely going to be in a dumb or turned into a new product.

What happens to the food waste?
it gets thrown out and wasted into the food waste bin.

Provide 3-4 suggestions for ways that consumers can decrease the amount of waste we create.
we can use our own contaners to take the food to our house. We can also use more paper bags so we can recycle it right after we bring our food home. Another thing we can do is replace the plastic bins into glass bins. the last thing I can suggest is having your own bag so we don’t use plastic bags instead when we go to the super market.
