70 episodes are gone! Musicians protest the large music streaming service Spotify for letting Joe Rogan spread controversial misinformation that amplified and divided his large following. Whether you watch The Joe Rogan Experience or not you heard him from his career in commenting for the MMA. He got backlash for 70 of his podcast episodes for using racial slurs and spreading wrong information. Led by Neil Young who made a movement with multiple other musicians who said they are pulling their music from the major music streaming platform for their failure to stop the spread of misinformation on COVID-19 vaccines and racial slurs. Neil young did pull his music from Spotify due to the fact that Daniel Ek stands behind Joe Rogan and will keep him. Joe Rogan then came out with an apology for his choice of words when he used racial slurs and false vaccine actuations. January 31, 2022, Bloomberg QuickTake: now talks about Joe Rogan’s Apologie. A large audience of people still disagree with Joe Rogan and think that he should be taken off the platform for his actions. Even now with his apology, people might not give him a second chance to redeem himself. Ceo Daniel Ek stands behind Joe Rogan and continues letting him stream his podcast. A statement made by Daniel Ek said, “After those talks and Rogan’s own reflection that the podcast host chose to remove a number of his episodes from Spotify”.  Personally, I don’t stand on either side. I don’t support what Joe Rogan said but I’m not all that bothered because I don’t watch Joe Rogan that often so I can’t make a formative opinion on him yet. I don’t think Joe Rogan is a bad nor a good person but I think when he said what he said he knew was wrong and took action to make things right. Sometimes on his show, he does drink with the person he is talking with and maybe that can justify why he made so poor decisions because he wasn’t thinking before he actually said the word or maybe I’m wrong but that’s what I want to believe. I personally wouldn’t believe anything on what Joe Rogan talks about on his show but I find it entertaining since their facts are most times wrong. I don’t watch his show for facts I watch it for enjoyment. In the end, you have to look deeper into what people say on their shows and think to yourself if these things are right or if even appropriate to say in the end I believe its best that these shows stay on to teach people not all news is good news.
