For my core competency, I chose to do “I can connect and engage with others”
I chose this because at the beginning of the year, the girls I was working with just seemed to know what I needed before I even said anything, and we all worked with just knowing what everyone needed and with minimal talking about what we had to do for the recipes, we spoke on other topics. Then, when we switched table groups and I didn’t know the people with me, I realized a bit into one of the labs that my not asking for help wasn’t going to cut it. So I started to talk everything out with my groups, and it may have seemed like I was bossing everyone around but I was just trying to get everyone involved with the labs and helping each other out. Looking back, I can say that I have come a long way from where I was at the beginning of the semester.
