Math 10 weekly blog post week 13

Domain and Range are very simple as I think (D)(R)

D, domain, x are width of the graph.

R, Range, y are length of the graph .

when I was solving it, it was very tricky because of complicate shape of the graph but actually, it is quite simple.

If I need domain and range, find where are dots in the graph and list it with this form (xl x<?)(x>?) (?<x<?) or (y<?)

If dots are filled of black,  that will be bigger or smaller and same. so <    I need to put _ under the < or > simbol

If dots are not filled, it means just bigger or smaller.

It also have different form.              (1,2) [1,2) [1,2]

( or ) mean bigger or smaller

[ or ] mean bigger or smaller and same

(1,2] = 1 bigger , 2 smaller and same.

Example.

D= (-3 < x < 1) or (-3,4]

R=( -4 < y < 0) or (-4,0]
