Science
Today in Science we had an interview with someone who works on mars, we also asked her a few questions over Skype. There were many questions asked one of which was ours,
Question) Would you consider space travel, why or why not?
Answer) Due to the fact she is claustrophobic she wouldn’t, but she would enjoy going around the earths orbit.
There were many things that I learned too,
-Mars is the only planet that is possible to have life on it because of the water.
-It would be really difficult to bring a rover back to earth because of how heavy it is.
-It take a long time to go to Mars because of how far away it is.
-Rovers are about 7 thousands to 1.2 billion dollars.
-Rovers last to 90 days to 10 years maybe even more, it depends on if they get stuck in dirt, -Rocks, and it’s battery percent.
-It takes up to 10 years to make a rover.
This was a great way to learn about space, the class enjoyed it and it also made a lot of sense.
