Conservatism and Liberalism is more beneficial than other ideologies. I think that it is important to know what ideology you believe in and why you believe in it. When it’s finally that day to vote you should think about which ideology would have the biggest impact on your life. The two ideologies that I personally like the most are Conservatism and Liberalism. I think that these are the most important ideologies because Liberalism gives you rights and opportunities and conservatism can help you pursue your goals by giving you the freedom that you deserve (studentnewsdaily). Fascism is the ideology that I dislike the most because they’re more focused on power more than the people.
Out of the two ideologies that I like the most I think that Conservatism is my favourite, but they’re still a lot of things that I like about Liberalism. Liberalism supports a more active role of government; they believe in equality for all, they try and protect everyone’s human rights, and they emphasize the need for the government to solve problems (studentnewsdaily). Personally I like the way how Liberals are running their government because they try to give every individual their rights and freedom, but I think that it might be a bad thing at some points because people might misuse this opportunity and use it in the wrong way.
The Conservatism believes in personal responsibilities, traditional American Values, and the free market in which the disadvantaged and minorities can support themselves (megaessays). They’re a lot of different things that I like about the Conservatives, like how they accept immigrants into the country, but I just feel like as long as they can do something beneficial for civilization, then they should be welcomed. Also I think that people should have a brief background check before entering because we don’t want to bring anymore criminals or predators into the country that will bring a negative effect for all. A big problem for people would be paying their taxes. The conservatives support lower taxes and having a smaller government. Lowered taxes are more beneficial for people because it’s easier for people to save and invest with their money. One thing I don’t like about the conservatives is that they oppose same-sex marriage. I think that people should be able to be with anyone they want no matter what their gender is. The conservatives believe that same-sex relationships violates moral and religious beliefs of millions of Christians, Jews, Muslims and others, who believe marriage is the union of one man and one woman (studentnewsdaily).
I believe that Fascism is one of the most dangerous ideologies. Fascism was created after World War I in Italy and Germany. Fascism is a government that is concentrated in a small group of people or even maybe one person, like Hitler. “The nationalism of fascism is so strong that it often involves feelings of national and racial superiority over others (study)”. An example of this would be the Jewish Holocaust during World War II. I dislike Fascism because it is more focused on power and their military. In my opinion, I think that Fascism is not the right way to run a country because it’s very dangerous and a lot of people’s lives could be lost.
I think that Conservatism and Liberalism is the most beneficial ideologies. These ideologies can affect civilization the most out of all the other ones. Writing this Essay I’ve learned a lot about politics and ideologies. Once I’m old enough to vote for a political party I will know which ideology will have the biggest impact in my life. I wonder what will happen if both conservatives and Liberals worked together?
