On my birthday, the U.S. surgeon general, Leroy E. Burney, reports that there is a direct link between smoking and lung cancer. 1957 ( I don’t know why that is important.)
The Leroy E. Burney report is huge. It is surprising that it happened so long ago and yet cigarettes are still so prevalent.
