Top 5 things I learned this year in math 9

This year of math 9 has been interesting. We have done so much and completed many different unis some which correspond to the previous unis as math likes to connect itself with math you learned in grade 1 all the way to where you are today so enjoy. (the titles (except Financial literacy) are links to a blog post furthermore explaining what I learned and that category.)

1.  Financial literacy

In Financial literacy I learned all about saving your money so you end up not losing money to inflation and maybe even make a little for doing nothing! In this I learned all about investments and about the power of compounding money.

2.  Exponents

in this unit I learned all about exponents a very important part of math used to simplify big question and expressions.

3.  Linear relations

The Linear relations unis was a really great unit for me because it refreshed my understanding of how to find patters and use numbers to make graph and visual statistiques.

4. Math inequalities

This section was really interesting because I learned some new rules and this was the second step to operating with equations.

5. Surface area

This unit was also a great refresher because it reminded me on how to calculate surface area for 3D objects and how to calculate surface area when 2 shapes are touching each other.
