Narrative Poetry Mood Interpretation

For all the photos we chose, we chose all of them based on what the summary sentences for the 7 sentences that was included in the criteria. The mood that the photos represents were mysterious, calm, happy, quiet and a little bit of romance, almost a one-sided love. Has a warm mood along with the warm colour scheme. Calm as the photos do not show violence. Mysterious is also another mood that was included there because of the 3rd sentence the word “mysterious” was there, a guy was unknown and was so nice to everyone that’s why it has this mood. Everyone was very happy because in the old era everyone who enters the saloon is very happy because they get to drink beer or alcohol because there was not a lot of saloon around before and saloon is where people go to forget their problems. Quiet not the general meaning but what we mean is that there was no fight everyone was just having fun and getting drunk. As romance was also included as a mood, Dan McGrew who secretly fell in love with the girl named Lou and admired her when he was there, he did not know that the girl named Lou knew he was falling for her. This picture provides of accurate representation of the poem’s complex mood. According to the text that summarized a stanza, its mode depends on how it was summarized.

  1. Thank you for posting your flip book, retelling a narrative poem as a story using the FlipSnack technology. Here are my observations regarding your work:

    – Great job transferring methods of presentation (Google Slides > Flip Book > Embedded blog post)
    – Embedded properly on blog, minimal description of the project included in the blog post
    – Book looks professional with a combination of both text and photos
    – Layout looks professional with balanced photos, colour schemes, matching fonts, etc.
    – Some photos are more suitable and fitting, whereas others make loose connections

Overall, I thought you did a very good job on this project!

    Thank you,
