In our English class, we have been assigned to make a documentary, based on two suggested concepts we have chosen our topic about how Riverside got the name Riverside Rapids. The two suggested concepts were, the exploration of text and story deepens our understanding of diverse, complex ideas about identity, others, and the world. And the Language shapes ideas and influences others. Our documentary was created by Max Baker, Marvin Concepcion, and Zayd Kotadia; The documentary style our documentary fits in to is expository because our documentary is to inform people about how our school got the name Riverside Rapids. The title of our documentary is “By the Rivers’ Side”
