Collaboration
While collaborating, each group member had their own strengths in which they contributed to the project. We tried to do most of the work together as a group, but when needed we divided the workload equally so that everyone has responsibilities. We made sure to use our time wisely when collaborating so that we could progress together as a group. It was fun to innovate and collaborate with my group, while also keeping in mind the critical thinking aspects of our idea. We were all pleased with the final outcome; even though we endured some bumps in the road; everything worked out in the end.
Experience Debrief
When carrying out this project, I enjoyed and disliked certain aspects of it. I quite enjoyed getting to learn more about electricity and the mechanics behind everyday technology. I was interesting to dream and discover new ways to improve the world. It was fun to be able to have endless ideas of what to innovate. What I disliked about this project, was that we worked on it long after the electricity unit; so, it was difficult to remember many of the electricity factors. I piece of advice I would give my group would be to be patient and let the ideas come to you; as at times we were worried about certain aspect of the project like is it too short, will the dragons like it. But, in the end we managed to innovate the Sunergy 3000, something that one day may hold a great impact in our still developing society.
Core competencies – Social Responsibility
When working and our innovation, my group worked quite well together. We all managed to use positive words and actions into making our work environment as healthy as possible. We made sure to include everyone in our innovation; and if there was ever a time where a group member was feeling discouraged we made sure to lift their spirit by using encouraging word. We all had a goal to reach and to do so, we divided responsibility throughout the group in order to have a fair and cooperative team. After completing our project, I feel like I have learnt more about dealing with problems such as disagreement and discouragement; so that next time, my social responsibility will be improved
