Float Your Boat Challenge

Problem:

 

 

Hypothesis:  if the volume of the ship can be larger then more coins can be installed because the area of the ship’s contact with water is larger and the

 buoyancy is larger.

Results and Conclusions:

The boat held challenge of putting coins in the water, the limit of our group’s ship is 45 coins.

 

The original thinking and reasoning behind the design was The boat made of rectangular shape, because it can carry more coins, is the same as we did then bed 4 Straw and cotton candy so as to ensure the power by the both sides in both sides and.

 

If the following challenge was repeated, to improve the boat design, the following changes would be made….because….

 

I will increase the thickness of the hull material, because this adds the support force of the ship to the object.
