Purpose: Which fruit will produce the most electric voltage?

 

Hypothesis:  From my understanding fruits do not produce that much electric voltage because of the food texture. My hypothesis is the biggest fruit will take produce the most amount of electric voltage from how big the fruit is, For example water melon compared to an apple. If we were to both give them the same amount of time to produce electric voltage with our Materials the watermelon would produce more because of the size the water melon has leaving it to have more space to produce and make more Electric Voltage. See the fruits as capacity sizes, A water melon has a big capacity leaving it to have more space, An apple has a small core and size leaving it to only hold the amount  of how big it is. The bigger the fruit the more electric voltage that it will produce from our lab. My hypothesis has a great understanding of why this would happen to the amount of electric energy/voltage that will take place inside of the fruit. The texture inside of the fruit would also make a big difference to the amount of volt energy that it picks up.

 

Materials Needed:

1 Voltmeter:

2 Wires:

1 Nail

1 Copper Strip

 

3 fruits/Vegetables

 

Procedure

Connect the copper strip and both wires to the voltmeter, Switch the volt meter to the max voltage to three. connect nail, put all of the materials connected to the fruit and see the result on the volt meter.

 

(Reasoning) Why. For this lab the reasoning for the fruit getting a electric current is because since there is  a nail and a copper strip in the fruit, this would cause a electric reaction and produce electric because of it. This would show on the volt meter once the nail and the copper strip is connected.

Observations: For our lab we had three fruits, Apple, Orange, and a lime. The toughest one to get through was the lime because of the hard shell on the outside. From what I saw the least amount of electric current was the apple and the most amount of electric current was the lime, The reasoning for this is because of the texture inside of the fruit, If you were to put a potatoes it would be a lot because of the thin skin and the chemicals inside of the fruit.

Results: 

For our end result we figured out the most electric current that was generated by the fruit was the lime, and we saw that the least amount of electric current was the apple. The reason for the electrons going through the fruit is because of the nail and the copper strip connecting together to create electrons between the both and causing the fruit to make a reaction and create a electric circuit. this could have been a error if you were to get electrocuted from the copper strip or the nail. the things that we could made difference in the lab was if we put the nail and the copper strip in different positions to create more or less electric current. this would not be a good Idea to use in a real life scenario because there would not be any use for checking the current on one of your favorite fruits. In the end my Hypothesis was incorrect and some of the things that I said didn’t make sense when doing the lab, which is what labs are for, there is lots of incorrect and correct hypothesis that occur.

Good Situation

Jerome jr. was going to attend his class of science remembering that the teacher said that they were doing a lab today. The class today was doing a candle lab which meant that Jerome jr. had to be safe around the fires when they are doing there testing part of the lessons that the teacher was teaching about was the WHIMIS, He knows that the candles are flammable and are hurtful to others if used wrongly. This would make Jerome Jr. cautious around the candle fire, He wanted all of his partners to be save and be successful in completing the lab. Jerome Jr. had safety equipment, he put on his goggles grabbed his safety coat and all the materials. An important part of the lab was the breakers because that helped discover what the time was, He grabbed the beaker and lifted the candle to set it on fire and start the times on the phone, Jerome Jr. had a fire  extinguisher ready just incase a fire would start. In this moment Jerome Jr’s whole group was scared hoping nothing would catch on fire during there lab, some wax dripped into one of Jerome Jr’s partner which led his group member to go to the eye washer just incase the wax doesn’t swell up her eye to leave her blind in one of her eyes. Jerome picked up the candle and accidentally dropped it landing on his pants creating a fire, his other group member grabbed the fire extinguisher to get rid of the fire, when they thought the fire was gone it some how went onto the desk causing the desk to set on fire. They remembered that they saw saw two consumer hazard symbols that would make them be in this situation, They saw a fire which meant flammable and one which showed a person which a wound which meant hurtful when the fire spread to the desk it kept getting bigger and bigger. The teacher went outside to pull the fire alarm getting rid of the fire and escorting everyone outside to safety. Jerome Jr was in shock of what happened and wondered where the third group member was that was cleaning her eyes and saw here in the back of the line in relieve.

Wrong Situation

Jerome Jr. was not excited to attend todays lab which was a candle lab, When he got into the lab he didn’t want to put on his glasses. For the first timing for the candle Jerome go wax in his eyes Jerome Jr. Forgot what to do when there is wax in his eyes, he didn’t bother to do anything about the wax in his eyes he continued the lab with his group. The teacher said before to not get your hands near the candle because that’s common sense. He put his hand near the candle and burnt himself in the process. He was wearing sandals and a baggy sweater not sleeved up he went closer to the little fire again which led him to set him self on fire on the sleeve, There partners told the teacher immediately and went to the fire blanket and got rid of the fire on Jerome Jr. The fire some how led to the table which was made out of wood slowly spreading more and more Jerome Jr and his group mates panicking but was told to the teacher to late. The teacher ran to the side stairs to go pull the fire alarm, The fire already filled the class room and the fire in the room spread to the other rooms, The fire was slowly traveling through the school because of a small mistake fore not listening to the instructions and not caring about what he was doing during his lab. All the kids lined up outside to see the horrible sight of the school that got caught on fire. Jerome Jr. regretting his mistake of the careless actions that he was doing. Only if he listened what the teacher said of what to not do in the lab none of this would’ve happened. Jerome Jr. burned down the whole school for a big mistake

5 D’s Define, Discover, Dream, Deliver, Debrief

Define

The problem is climate changed is causing habitats and other important areas to bring up and die. my solution has a big impact on how the animals survive and live. The sun and the weather change. I want to protect carbon from going up into the area causing these horrible situations. I want the carbon from the vehicles to go somewhere else to not make our world to burn up from the climate change. My creation would solve this solution. My invention would help farmer pilots and normal A-B drivers from polluting our world by using gasoline that creates a gas called CO2 that could be the reason humans are extinct In this world. my Invention would millions of drivers everyday.

 

Discover

Over the years lots of things have worked and didn’t work. Factories is one example of causing our climate change to rot our earth. we need to make a system where the carbon that is going into the atmosphere instead is being filtered into some sort of machine into oxygen reducing the amount of carbon significantly saving our planet in the process and making more clean air for us to breath in. when my creation was built into Minecraft it was very enjoyable to make, If it was brought into the real world I have a great understanding that it would work very well and help climate change overall and stop our world from the hazards that are happening to people all around the world.

 

Dream

For my Ideas I came up with a gas that would not put out Carbon from vehicles, I modified it where there is a box that could clean up the carbon and filter the carbon into oxygen making our environment save. Making a gas to go into all vehicles reducing the amount of carbon into out atmosphere. My final creation that I thought through was to make a box to filter out of the carbon that would go into the atmosphere to instead turn into oxygen making a huge impact for climate change. If my dream were to come true, I think that it would save many lives and also save lots of Natural hazards like forest fire would all be gone and have a big impact on the amount of clean air and oxygen to breath in.

Deliver:

My Invention

My Invention was a carbon box that would be able to filter out all of the carbon that is being produced out of the exhaust out of the certain vehicle. This Invention would be able to help Natural hazards and many other things that are affected by climate change.

 

Debrief

During my project I felt like something that I did very well was to explain what my solution was when I posted my prototype and final invention. Something that I thought I did not so well was explaining what would happened to my invention if a certain action happens to it, that’s something that I could improve on my way of explain things to people that don’t quite understand what I’m trying to make. This is helpful for also the real world and problem like this where people have to ask me questions of what my creation is. When I’m doing another project similar to this one I know that I could capitalize on the project to help It to make a better mark

 

 

 

 

 

Climate In Canada

My Climate in Canada is based on the area Maritimes:

Causes and Effects:

The Maritimes area has a lot of trees and lakes surrounding it, this would mean that there are more wild life and sea creatures for example fish. The food production rate would go down from fish dying from not being able to handle the drastic change of weather. This would leave less food for most humans that are relying on fish and other sea creatures as there main food source, from the high change in climate change this would mean that natural hazards would occur more like wild fires, Natural resources like trees would get burned down and less CO2 would be getting collected from the atmosphere leaving it to create more climate change and continue the cycle. The cause of climate change could also leave most fishermen and farmers hopeless from the loss of money from there food not growing or dying from the lack of light/rain. Transportation would get more efficient from all of the trees burned up, it would leave more area from travel and people would get around the Maritimes much easier. The Industry would be pumping up more food from the lack of fish in the rivers and lakes, this would cause more climate change from the factories use more fossil fuel to make CO2 travel up to the Atmosphere, since most trees are now burnt to a crisp it would cause climate change more harm to humans and the sun would get to hot, this would cause more situations like this.

Telophase: This where the membrane form around two Chromosomes more like caving in towards both groups of the Chromosomes.

Cytokinesis: This is the stage where the Cytoplasm of a single eukaryotic cell divides into two daughter cells
