It was a cold snowy day at the streets and Mark who has no house to live and no money to spend. He only had is his sleeping bag which he got from the garbage, an old jacket, ripped jeans and a hat that he found lying on the snow. He walk and walk and saw a snow dove thinking that how did his life went to his current life then suddenly he saw a boy who is playing hockey on the ice on the frozen lake close to the bridge and he found $20 lying on top of his usual spot to keep himself warm. Mark was watching the boy playing from his spot until it’s almost sunset the boy left the lake and started walking towards the building and he thinks that the boy must’ve lived in one of those buildings, Mark felt like was feeling hungry so he went to a restaurant and ate some food then he left the place and went back to the bridge and went to sleep. The next day he saw the boy playing and another day passes then he saw the boy again the same thing happen again and again like it’s the boy’s routine to practice at noon until almost sunset. Then one day when to boy was playing and the man was watching the boy there was some kids who appeared and interrupt the boy. They broke his stick, hurt the boy and took net. The boy was crying and the man rushed toward the kids and talked to them and Mark told them haveyou not have compassion to the boy?. Then the older kids suddenly ganged up on the and started to beating Mark and there was a man who was watching from the distance he looked like he’g from a meeting. the older kids stopped and walked away shouting “Both of you are loosers.”

The man who was watching from the distance came to talk to Mark and and said “I’m Paul and thank you for standing out to save my son from those kids.” Mark replied “He’s your son you’re welcome.” Paul said “Yes he’s my son.” Paul asked Mark if he want’s to look after the boy in exchange he gets to live to their house and get paid. Mark accept Paul’s offer and said “that’s so generous of you thank you so much.”he’s full of gratitude that he gave Paul and the boy a hug. Since then Marked looked after the boy, walked him to school and soon learned how to skate and play hockey. Sometimes when they walked past the store they buy some candy and a box of pizza and they share.
