Week 3
Last week was spent working on the design and pattern making of the apron project. I created the plans for the apron and am now working on the paper pattern which I am close to done.
Last week went well enough for me. I completed most of the pattern pieces and all I have to do now is create the pattern for the seam pockets on the sides.
This week I plan on completing the patterns and cutting out the fabric for the apron. I’m thinking that I’ll be able to complete the project next week if no problems happen.
So far, I don’t know what I want to do for my personal project. I only have one idea now which is to make a jacket with a removable liner. I feel like this is a good p
roject idea because it would teach me to create and sew a liner for any of the jackets I have at home.
This is the original design idea but some things have changed.
