Social media response

In the cyber world, people such as myself get dragged into this hole we call social media. People do not really need instructions as to how you would use technology responsibly, just use common sense. There are many reasons why people should use their common sense instead of a guide: People are in control of the machine (device), common sense gives people an open mind, and people are supposed to be intelligent beings, unless they want to prove otherwise. People are in control of what they are doing because it is their life, whether they want to build on it, or destroy it. If they are in control of their life, they should know that they are in control of the machines also, not the other way around. The need for a guide in this type of situation is very unnecessary because this problem can be solved when one is a reasonable thinker. Common sense provides people an open mind. It provides an open mind because it makes people think more logically, whereas with a guide, there is no thinking needed, therefore making them a less critical-thinker type of individual. Common sense is more essential than a guide because people are intelligent enough to know how to use machines. If humans know how to get to the top of the food chain, they obviously know how to use a device responsibly. There are many ways that people can go in or out of social media responsibly. A guide would be handy, but common sense is a much more paramount quality to have than a guide because it reminds people that they are in control of technology, it turns people into critical-thinkers, and that people are superior enough to use technology sensibly.
