Digital Footprint

Digital Footprint

  1. My digital footprint can affect my opportunities in many ways. For example, if I ever text some trash or toxic stuff to anyone and my future boss finds out or anyone of my peers then I get fire or suspended from my job. Another case could be if for example had a account on Instagram and it has some words and pictures that are not appropriate, and a teacher or just anyone sees it they might think of you differently and I guarantee you it won’t go away.

  1. Some strategies to keep your digital footprint safe are double check with a peer before posting anything you are not sure of on social media, another one is to always keep in mind that whatever you post or say is always going to stay no matter what, and lastly you can just not post anything to begin with, I’m not saying you can’t but if you can do it then great.

  1. I learned that you always have to think ahead when posting something onto social media, because you can have a good digital footprint or a bad digital footprint. Also, always double check with a peer before posting anything your unsure of.
