Reflection

Poverty

We watched the documentary about the homeless, the homeless lived on the stress, and they don’t have food, they don’t have the home, and they don’t have the money. Some volunteers go to help them, someone is very shy, and avoid the camera, and avoid the help, but someone is accept the help, and they want to leave the poor life, and get the help to find the Job and live a good life.

Definition: The” poverty” means poor, no power, no money, like the homeless, is very hard to live, very hard to subsist, no home, miserable life.

Discrimination:

We shared the discrimination in the class, I also have my discriminating story, is about the racial discrimination. When I just came to Canada, I went to played the basketball with my friends. A black person talked to me, hey, where are you from, you are not good at playing basketball, and get out of the here, see your skin, this is the not your sport. I was very angry, but what can I do? “nothing”, the correct answer. I just can make me be strong, to beat them. This is my discriminating story, I don’t like to be discriminated.

Definition: Discrimination means someone bully someone, also means speak the language to attack others, and humiliate other people, is not respect and peace.
