Diabetes is a serious health issue that affects millions of people around the world every day. As a person who lives with Type 1 Diabetes, I have a vested interest in research and analysis about this disease. While researching raw data about diabetes, I found the United States of America to be a good focus country due to its large population and the number of states and district it has. I was able to use and compare diabetes data between the related years of 2013-2019. The raw data that I used gave information and different types of data for each state and district in The United States of America. Subsequently, I was able to compare the number of diagnosed adults with diabetes between the entire country using all 50 states and 1 district. I visualized my data by creating an infographic where I represented  the raw data using a graph which shows the number of adults diagnosed with diabetes per State. This infographic enabled the viewer to easily see the differences in diabetes diagnosis rates which is broken by percentage of the population. This infographic allowed me to concisely display a lot of data in a visually appealing way that is easy to read and included some images and icons that were related to diabetes such as a blood sugar meter and a couple blood drops. Regardless of the topic when looking at raw data by creating visualized data including an infographic a better understanding can be gained.
