Black Angus Campfire Special

The Black Angus Steakhouse in Goodyear, Arizona has a delightful warmth of country-ness when stepping through the heavy, red front doors.  Even before entering the restaurant, customers can smell the aroma of grilling steaks.  The restaurant is decorated with country style pictures, Western artifacts, and spacious, comfortable booths.  The restaurant staff treat customers with welcoming kindness from the moment they walk in, until they are given a warm goodbye.  The restaurant’s speciality is their campfire special for two.  It includes warm molasses bread, an appetizer to share, two garden salads, two entrées, and a dessert to share.  With a coupon from their website, the Campfire Special is $44 for two people.  The average price of other adult entrées is about $20, and there is also a kid’s menu.  My favourite Campfire Special meal starts with potato skins loaded with crispy bacon, gooey cheddar cheese, sour cream, and chives. Then comes a crisp garden salad with thousand island dressing, followed by a 12-ounce juicy New York steak, and finished off with a rich and creamy Mud Pie for dessert.  The above courses are scrumptious, and are served efficiently by attentive, friendly, and outgoing servers.  The servers keep customers happy and create an amazing atmosphere perfect for couples, families, or large groups.  At Black Angus, sounds of people enjoying themselves can be heard all over the spacious and busy restaurant.  Black Angus is my family’s favourite restaurant to go to in Arizona.  While talking to our server, my family learned that the restaurant staff make the steak sauce, tortilla chips, and dressings all in house, adding to the restaurant’s uniqueness.  Black Angus’s friendly staff serves moderately priced, extraordinary food in a pleasantly decorated restaurant, with a warm atmosphere.  I would definitely recommend going to this restaurant.
