Science 10 Online Work Self Assessment

The transition from in school learning to online learning has been both good and bad for me. I like online learning because it’s less hours than what we would usually be doing in school, but at the same time that’s not good because we don’t get as much stuff done and don’t get as many lessons which is hard because we aren’t learning as much which will make the transition to grade 11 harder. Something I found beneficial about online learning is a couple of my teachers had tutorial channels on teams and on the days that we didn’t have live classes, we could go to tutorial and ask questions and get help with assignments we didn’t understand. I was able to do this for my Math and French class, and found it very helpful. Something that I found difficult about online learning is sometimes there would be technical difficulties;  the audio would glitch and it would be hard to hear what is being said. Something I liked about online learning and something I would change is in one of my classes our teacher broke us up into smaller groups and our groups had live classes with about 7 – 8 people in each group. I really liked this because it gave us an opportunity to talk more and ask more questions if we needed to. We also had to have our cameras on, and this way it felt like it was an actual class we would have in school. I would’ve liked to have done this in all my classes because I found it very beneficial, so that would be something that I would change. Overall, online learning was an OK experience for me but I think I prefer in school learning.
