Week 2- Geometric Sequences

This week in math we learned about geometric sequences. A geometric sequence is where every term is multiplied by a constant number.

My geometric series is 13, 65, 325, 1625…

To rind r I need to use the formula r=\frac{t_n}{t_{n-1}}

So $latex r=\frac{325}{65} r=5

Now that I know r, I could solve for t_{10}, the formula I need to solve this is t_{10}=t_1*r^{n-1}

So t_{10}=13*5^9

So t_{10} would equal 25390625.
