The name of my book is Street Pharm, the author is Allison van Diepen, this is a little summary of what I have read so far:
The setting of my story is a bit dark, the main character is a drug dealer, his name is Tyler, the story begins by Ty explaining that his dad was a drug dealer, but he got arrested, and explains how he decided to continue with the family business, his mom does not agree with him running the business, but he still does it , then Ty got expelled from his school for skipping classes and was sent to another school, there he met a girl named Alyse, he promised himself that he wasn’t going to date until the age of 21, he thinks that if he dates he is going to get distracted from his business, he ends up dating her, after several days with her he realized that she was a distraction because one of his workers got arrested, because he didn´t follow a delivery, then another drug dealer named Darkman tries to bring down Ty´s business, Ty got shot twice by the workers of Darkman, Ty has a plan to get him out of the streets…
The scene that I modeled from the book is when Ty is in his room sleeping, and suddenly he gets a call, (he got expelled from his school and now had to attend another school) the meeting was at 9 am, and he was already late, he answered and try to convince the woman from the school that the transference got canceled, and that he was at another school already, but the woman didn’t believed him.
The emotional setting from my book is dark, because Ty sells drugs and he is almost all the time in a bad, creepy environment because he could get shot, or locked up, now those two have more possibilities of happening, because he is in a fight with another dealer called Darkman.
I hope Ty gets out of that world and start living a happy life without all the worries he has.
