Smart Goals

My Personal Goal:

I will get my driver’s learner’s license and score 85% and above on the test, within three months after I turn 16. I plan to read the ICBC Learn To Drive Smart Manuel and take notes of the material.

After I take notes of most of the material, I will summarize the material and put it into sticky notes or Q cards to review the information again and I’ll start to slowly memorize the material by constantly reviewing the material. If there is anything I’m unsure about, I can ask my mom and dad for tips and help with the material I am unsure about. If I fail the test or get a lower than 85%, I can look back on the test and see what I need to work on for the future and what I did well.

My Academic Goal:

I will get an A in CLE 10, at the end of the quarter on my report card. I plan to increase the amount of effort I put into each of my assignments by increasing the amount of time I spend on each assignments, so I’ll have enough time to put more effort into each assignment. I plan to do this by making time each day to work on the assignment and to plan out how much time I’m going to put into the assignment each day in order to stay on track and be able to put enough effort and detail into each assignment. If I ever get confused or unsure of something about the assignment. I can ask my parents and also my teacher for help and more clarity of the assignment. I can also look at the criteria for better understanding. If I get a bad grade, I can ask myself or my teacher what things I did well and what things I needed to improve on so that I can learn to not make the same mistake again in the future.
