In this video essay, I had to use my communication core competency to illustrate a point and get the idea that social media was harmfull. I had to acquire, interpret and present information to make it clear what my standing on the topic was. I also had to use my critical thinking skills analyze and critique information that may was not helpful to make a point about social media harm. It was very important to think critically when developping the presentation format to get the point that I was trying to make across to the view/listener.
