1) What are the strengths? Things you found useful.

The Divi Builder is a very polished Plugin. It provides students with an opportunity to customize their edublog more freely. It also gives the tech savvy to really play around with the Plugin. Divi Builder allows students to express their personality and I think everyone will utilize it in a different way. I believe the main purpose for the Divi Builder, is to help student make their blog and projects look unique, and Divi Builder accomplishes that. Divi Builder can give a nice background look to your blog.

2) What are the weaknesses? Things you found could be improved.

Divi Builder has a little lag. It also is very cluttered and there is definitely room for improvement. Half of the time you could have used widgets which look nicer and easier to use. Widgets are just better. Divi Builder ruins the flow of a blog and to make it blend in, you would have to do a considerable amount of work just to add in a small, minor thing. Personally my blog looked better without Divi Builder. The main thing that Divi Builder could use is it to feel like it is part of edublog, it feels like a sub-optimal extension. It’s a good concept, but it needs more time being developed and new ideas for it to be useful and convenient.

3) How can this plugin be used in a classroom setting to enhance student learning? Would you use it and/or recommend it?

First of all, I would not recommend it, yet. I don’t know how it could be used in a class setting. It feels more like something to customize your edublog page for, rather than “class-room material.” I guess it could enhance student learning by familiarizing students with add-ons and extensions, but I don’t know. It sounds like I am tearing on Divi builder, and I am, it’s a good base for something that’s useful. It just needs more effort put in to it.
