How Did You Figure Out What Equations to Use?
The OneNote helped a lot because I looked in there and the shape of lines where already drawn in there. So I already had an estimate on what I wanted my portrait to look like, so I used the appropriate lines for the situation. However, I didn’t use cubic root and reciprocal function.
Did You Have Any Challenges?
Yes, I had a lot of challenges, one being the ears. I took inspiration off of another self portrait and I regret not doing a quadratic equation for the ears instead of little fragments of lines because I spent a total of six hours on them and did many drafts. Beyond that I had little challenges here and there on not getting my equations to work.
Any Aha Moments?
No, not really. I just worked for a long time. Yes it was tedious but I got it finished.
Did You Get Help?
Not really. I got inspiration from the internet and I figured my problems out in minutes. Yep minutes, that really ticked me off.
Did You Use Any Strategies?
No, besides the fact that I had a plan in my head, I used none.
What Did This Assignment Help You Understand About Functions, Relations and Their Graph?
This assignment did two things for me. One, I need to know from an equation, how that will impact the graph. Two, what the equation will look like on a graph (e.g.) y=x^2 will lead to a parabola forming a U shape.
