This week we learned about measurement with the metric and imperial system and how to covert measurements throughout the units. For the metric system we learned a way to memorize the metric system with the sentence “king Henry doesn’t usually drink chocolate milk”. Depending on where your original number is, you would move the decimal either to the left or right depending on what unit it needs to be converted to.
K- (kilo) EX: KIILOMETERS
H- (hecto) EX: HECTOMETERS
DE- (deca) EX: DECAMETERS

U- (unit) EX: GRAMS, LITERS, METERS
MOVE THE DECIMAL PLACE TO THE RIGHT
D- (deci) EX: DECIMTERS
C- (centi) EX: CENTIMETERS
M- (milli) EX: MILLIMETERS
