ENG9-Stop Motion- The Veldt

Below is my groups’ stop motion for a short story by Ray Bradbury called “The Veldt”.

As much as this project was challenging and very time consuming, We felt the project was actually kinda fun if you were trying. There were a lot of frustrating moments but I think overall, we did well.

We did go over the given time limit on this one but we decided it was much better to have a quality video than to have a very short, less edited, and less interesting video. It had its frustrating moments such as accidentally moving the entire sett or the Lego’s just not sticking where you want them to stick. We persevered through that and were overall proud of what we could accomplish in that time. I Had a great time working with my team as we all worked hard on our sets and making sure our angles were right. Setbacks are only obstacles, they should never make you give up on reaching your goal.

  1. Thank you for posting the “Stop Motion Project” based on your short story unit. I have some observations regarding this piece on a technological perspective, that I wanted to share with you:

    – Great editing and overall presentation creating a stop motion video
    – Extremely professional in format (replicates the medium)
    – Sound effects (footsteps, doorbell, closing door and alarm system) is excellent
    – Dialogue is very on point with the plot
    – Smooth movement of characters and great setting production
    – Recreates the story using the creative fluency (new product)
    – Posted and embedded correctly on your Edublog

Thank you for sharing and well-done on an OUTSTANDING stop motion video!
