Our assignment in Earth Science was to capture 3 pictures of clouds, preferably different types, and identify each one.

Above is the first picture. This was right in front of Riverside Secondary. These clouds to me look like they are cumulonimbus at the top, stratocumulus at the bottom and possibly a little bit altostratus in the middle part.

Above is the second picture I took. This was on my street close to my house. These clouds to me look like they are stratocumulus and maybe a bit of cirrus in the thin layers of cloud behind the stratocumulus clouds.

Lastly, above is the third picture I took on the highway. These clouds to me look like they are altocumulus or cirrus because they look a little feathery but they look more altocumulus because of their structure.
Thanks for watching and I hope you learned a bit about clouds!
Can you please add in the dates and times of when these pictures are from? 🙂 The identification is good except where you say stratocumulus, I’d just say cumulus.
9/12 – add dates and times for more marks
Thank you!!
12/12 now. 🙂
